Glass polishing
Combustion with oxygen, in particular using hydrogen as a fuel to obtain a hot and clean flame, is a widely used technology in the glass sector, in particular in finishing processes such as polishing where high flame temperatures are required to smooth and polish for example raised parts or edges (production of containers or glasses). The burners used for this application are oxy combustible with low thermal power (a few kilowatt) and are designed for operating conditions on the basis of specific process requirements.
SOL offers its customers specific oxycombustible burners for glass polishing processes that can produce intense and extremely hot flames even on small areas.
