Fume recirculation systems - SolMet
SOL offers systems and processes for fume recircultation that can be used in melting kilns for the production of aluminium even from low quality scrap: a specific SolMet oxy combustion burner, developed to be integrated with the fume recircultation system, ensures maximum process flexibility in long operating intervals.
A high-temperature fan, and all directly by the electrical panel of the SolMet system, controls the amount of fumes recircultation on the basis of process requirements and the parameters detected using a special PLC controller programmed on the basis of the know-how built up by SOL in this sector and of the specific needs of the user, to recover the heat content of the unburned fuel to benefit the melting process and fuel savings.
