CO2 Beverage Carbonation

CO2 is mainly used in the beverage sector for CARBONATION of soft drink, beer and sparking water. The constant attention given to the needs of the beverage industry and the experience matured by SOL in the production and the distribution of beverage quality CO2 is at the bases of the development and the articulation of SOL service.

Within the activity of liquid CO2 supply for the carbonation of drinks SOL has set up a specific control using practices that respect the environmental, safety of people and of the equipments such that SOL CO2 quality is also guarantee by the certification ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 that allow SOL to be at the top of the markets for CO2.

SOL is able to provide an Analysis Certificate that highlights the correspondence with the requisites of the ISBT Specification.

SOL Service in the beverage is focus mainly on the quality and safety of the CO2 product supplied to own customers, that includes:

  • HACCP plan for CO2 food grade E290 that involve product traceability and hygiene control in the entire supply chain from production to delivery
  • Batch test report and certificates for CO2 food grade
  • ISBT standard qualification for beverage industry with specific food grade quality (CO2 ingredient)
  • Food certified equipments for CO2 distribution (gas mixer, manifold, pressure reducer, hoses..)
  • Safety data sheet about the potential hazards and the best practise for using CO2
