Plant and materials for distributing and regulating gases certified for food use
SOL produces, through companies in the group, and offers to food companies plant components certified for the distribution, regulation and control of food gases: in addition to ISO 9001 these components are certified under the EU 1935/2004 (material in contact with food products) regulation.
The gases supplied by SOL and used, for example, for packaging technologies or beverage carbonation, are considered food additives (or foods in the case of CO2) by current regulations and are certified as food compliant by SOL up to delivery, in special containers, to customers.
The need to preserve the characteristics of the gases throughout the process of transfer from containers to contact with the food product, that is along lines with valves, pressure regulators, mixers and outlet points, is met by the materials supplied by SOL that allow the food company to bear responsibility for its production with greater confidence.
In fact AliSOL plant components and the connecting pipes are certified as food compliant, so customers have the certainty that the quality of the gas remains unaltered through to the point of use and, with adequate plant maintenance, that the gas will not bring sources of contamination to the food.
The certification can be attached by the customer to his HACCP manual and be shown to his customers as a guarantee of high quality and food safety.
