Hydrogenation
Hydrogenation is a chemical reaction that adds hydrogen to a substrate that may be a chemical element or compound, usually with a catalyst, in heterogeneous or homogeneous phase. Most hydrogenation processes use molecular hydrogen (H2), which may come from various sources (delivered in compressed form to the workplace or self-produced).
