Cryogenic deburring
Traditional mechanical deburring processes used for rubber or plastic products can be integrated or replaced by grinding in apparatus using liquid nitrogen: the intense cooling of the product with the injection of cryogenic liquid nitrogen makes it extremely fragile, so it is easier to remove undesired parts with energy costs lower than those of mechanical processes and higher productivity.
SOL provides integrated solutions for the deburring process, thanks to collaboration with highly qualified operators and the experience it has built up in making plants suitable for the use of cryogenic gases. The liquid nitrogen is provided by suitable plant with controlled pressure and capacity, and process parameters are continuously monitored.
